A story line with potential and some really funny moments. However, in the end the characters are crude and vulgar and have very few redeeming qualities. The interactions are so tasteless that they start to lose the intended comic effect and just become trashy!
I got the distinct impression that the author was going for "shock value" but took it one step too far because the characters were just so over-the-top that they became unbelievable. It didn't help that there is a 4 year old character who already sees profanity as a norm and is definitely on route to becoming a completely dysfunctional adult. I found his supposedly funny outbursts to be quite disturbing!
